Flexibility has always been an important quality at OTTO Sport. When it comes to their own arena levelers, this flexibility comes to life in the VARIO.
By means of its flexible attachment possiblities, the VARIO is the ideal device for anyone who doesn’t want to purchase a powerful tractor with three-point-linkage system in order to keep the arena footing in shape, but who would like to use a small towing vehicle a trailer ball or towing-eye linkage. Still, whoever already has a small vehicle with a three-point-linkage system can get the VARIO with this type of attachment as well.
The VARIO has all the arena grooming instruments as the DELUXE. However, due to its narrow working width of 1.80 m, it is considerable lighter and, therefore, towable by less powerful vehicles. For transport outside the arena, the VARIO is equipped with extendable transport wheels.
Flexible attachment possibilities

Due to its flexible attachment possibilities, the VARIO is the ideal device for anyone who wants to keep their arena in shape using a small towing vehicle equipped with a trailer ball or towing-eye linkage system. It is even possible to switch between these two attachments.
However, anyone who has a small towing vehicle with a three-point-linkage system can get the VARIO with this attachment as well.
Every element steplessly adjustable.
Millimeter by millimeter.
A trademark of every groomer by OTTO Sport is its easy handling. Every single grooming instrument can be adjusted steplessly, millimeter by millimeter and without the need for any additional tools.

Extendable transport wheels
for driving outside the arena.
For lifting the VARIO to transport it outside the arena, the device is equipped with extendable transport wheels.
These transport wheels can easily be pumped down by hand using an integrated lever. The towing vehicle does not have to be equipped with a hydraulic system for this.
This way, the grooming instruments are protected when driving across roads, pavement etc.
Once it is back in the arena, the VARIO can easily be let down by opening a small valve on the groomer.
Harrows
Steplessly adjustable
The harrows on the VARIO are used to fluff up the footing and can be adjusted steplessly by hand. No tools are needed for this.
Depending on the set depth of the harrows into the surface, the degree of fluffing up the surface is determined.
Moreoever, the harrows’ tips can be easily replaced after they have been worn out.
Leveling board
Steplessly adjustable
Uneven spots in the footing, for example hoof prints, can be leveled by means of the leveling board.
The patented, wave-like shape of the board prevents the footing from being dragged across the arena too much.
Just like any other grooming instrument on the VARIO, the leveling board can be adjusted steplessly.
Track-clearer
Steplessly adjustable
The so-called hoof track is a track around the arena and is usually its most used part.
Any material which has been pushed to the side can be dragged back into the arena using the VARIO’s integrated track-clearer, making sure that the surface provides the same condition across the entire arena.
The track-clearer can be adjusted in its height as well as in its distance to the machine – all of which is steplessly adjustable by hand.
